INTERNSHIP

The Office of Preparedness Internship Program provides a unique opportunity to gain valuable professional experience and build leadership skills. This hands-on program is designed to mentor and cultivate today’s young leaders, strengthen their understanding of Emergency Management and Homeland Security while preparing them for future public service opportunities.

The Shelby County Office of Preparedness Internship Program’s mission is to make the hands-on involvement accessible to future leaders.

The application period remains open year round and is open to all students enrolled in an accredited College or
University. All applicants will be required to undergo a background check.
